How do I access my counsellor?
To make an appointment for telephonic &/or face to face counselling, you may contact any of the designated  counsellors. Please introduce and identify yourself to the counsellor by giving your employee number and your date of birth.
Do I get time off to go to the EAP?
If you want to utilize EAP during working hours, you will need to follow the leave guidelines of Your Organisation.
Will any one know I've gone to the EAP?
The EAP is completely confidential. You can use the service without anyone knowing at all. Just make an appointment at your own convenience. Information about you will not be revealed to your employer or anyone else unless required by the law of the land. If your counselor believes it would be beneficial to speak to someone about your situation, they will ask for your written permission before they do so. Seeking the assistance of the EAP will not impact your career opportunities.
How much will it cost me?
The EAP is free of charge to all employees and their immediate families of the organisations that contracted to provide the said services. In some instances, referral to other specialists or services within the community may be necessary. If you are referred to another agency, the cost of that treatment has to be borne by you. In most cases, further referral may not be required. Your Organisation will sponsor a particular number of counseling sessions. If the case requires more counseling sessions the cost of the same will be borne by the employee.
Please Note:
- Some times people would prefer to see a different EAP counselor after having consulted one. This is acceptable.
- If for any reason you cannot keep your next appointment, please inform about this to your counsellor within 24 hrs, so that he/she can give the appointment time to some one else who might need it.
